TDC Local Plan Consultation

Tandridge District Council have recently issued their ‘Sites Consultation’ document which details all of the sites they have under consideration for development as part of their Local Plan. The document is large at 440 pages, (you can get it here), but probably the most significant change since the first draft of the Local Plan is that Tandridge District Council now believe that either Blindley Heath or South Godstone is the ideal place for them to locate a new town of “at least 2,000 homes”.

This is a very worrying development for the residents of the southern part of Godstone parish. If you would like to know more about the plans, we have updated the page on the Local Plan here.

We very strongly recommend that if you have a view on either this proposed new town or any of the other sites listed in the Sites Consultation document, you make them known to Tandridge District Council during the consultation period which begins on Friday 4th November and ends on Friday 30th December 2016.

If you are registered, you can view the documents via the consultation portal at http://consult.tandridge.gov.uk/portal/, (you can register if you have not already done so), or you can let your views be known by post to:
